What is WTF Games?
WTF Games is a collection of free HTML5 games you play right in your browser. No download, no install, no sign-up needed.
Are the games really free?
Yes. Every game on the site is free to play.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play everything without one. An account lets you save favorites, track playtime, and show up on game leaderboards.
Do the games work on mobile and Chromebook?
Most do. The games run in the browser, so they work on phones, tablets, and school laptops.
Why are these called unblocked games?
They load straight in the browser, so they keep working on networks that block app stores or downloads.
A game will not load. What do I do?
Refresh the page, try a different browser, or check your connection. Some games need WebGL, which a few older devices do not support.
Can I suggest a game?

Playing at school: Chromebooks, WiFi, and safety
Can I play games on a school Chromebook?
Yes. Every game here runs in the Chrome browser, so a Chromebook is enough. Open a game page, press play, and it loads right in the tab.
How do I play unblocked games on a school Chromebook without downloads?
You don’t need to download anything. The games are HTML5 and run inside the page like a normal website. No installs, no extensions, no admin rights.
Why does my school block game sites?
School filters block big gaming domains by category to keep students on task. Browser games like ours keep working because they load as regular web pages instead of going through an app store or a launcher.
Do these games work on school WiFi?
Most do. Browser games are small files, so they load fine on slow or filtered networks. If a game stalls, test the connection with a light one like Slope first.
Do the games need Flash?
No. Flash shut down in 2020 and nothing on this site uses it. Every game is HTML5, which runs in any modern browser, including Chrome on a Chromebook.
Are unblocked games safe to play?
The games run inside a sandboxed iframe, which keeps them separated from your device and your files. You never install anything, and you can play without an account.
A game loads at home but not at school. Why?
The school filter is probably blocking a server the game talks to. Refresh the page first. If that fails, pick a single-player game; multiplayer titles need open connections that filters often cut.
Are there 2 player games for one keyboard?
Yes. The 2 player category is built for one keyboard: one player on WASD, the other on the arrow keys. Same screen, same Chromebook.
Which .io games work at school?
Most of them, since .io games are browser games by design. Try Bloxd.io or Smash Karts. They need a live connection for multiplayer, so a strict filter can still cut them off.
Can I save my progress in Cookie Clicker and other idle games?
Yes, if you stay in the same browser on the same device. Idle games like Cookie Clicker save to the browser’s local storage. Clearing browsing data or playing in incognito wipes the save.
