Minecraft Classic is the first version of Minecraft. It was created by Markus 'Notch' Persson and released on May 17, 2009. The game is a sandbox game in which players can create their own worlds with blocks of various materials.

Gameplay

In Minecraft Classic, the player can explore the world, mining blocks and building structures. The player can also craft tools, weapons, and other objects. The game features a day-and-night cycle and weather effects.

The player can play online or offline. If the player is playing online, they can join a server or create their own. If the player is playing offline, they can play in a single-player world.

The player can choose from three game modes: Creative, Survival, and Hardcore. In Creative mode, the player has unlimited resources and can build anything they want. In Survival mode, the player must gather resources to survive. In Hardcore mode, the player must gather resources to survive, and if they die, they are permanently killed.
