About this game

Brain Test: IQ Challenge is a trick question puzzle game. Each level shows you a short prompt and a picture, and the obvious answer is almost always the wrong one. The real solution usually means treating the picture as an object you can mess with rather than a question you answer, which is exactly why the game is fun to play next to somebody else.

How to play: everything is mouse driven. Click things to interact, and click and drag when a level wants an object moved, combined or dragged completely off the screen. Some puzzles want you to drag a word out of the question itself, others want you to hold two objects at once or use something from the level border. If you are stuck, the game offers a hint, but every level is solvable without one once you stop reading the prompt literally.

Two habits speed you up. First, try touching every element on screen, including the text of the question, the numbers, and anything in the background, because a huge share of the answers live outside the obvious puzzle area. Second, when a level looks impossible, re-read the prompt for a word doing double duty, since the game leans hard on puns and literal readings. Rushing costs you nothing, so brute-force experimenting is a legitimate strategy here.

This one is a solid pick if you like puzzles that reward lateral thinking over reflexes. Similar things on WTF Games: Cut the Rope for physics puzzles with the same one-more-level pull, Sudoku Classic for straight logic, and Bloxorz for spatial thinking. It plays unblocked in the browser on a school Chromebook. Note that it is a Unity build, so give it a few seconds to load.

Brain Test: IQ Challenge FAQ

How do you play Brain Test: IQ Challenge?

Click and drag with the mouse. Each level is a trick question, so the answer usually means interacting with the picture or the text rather than picking an obvious option.

Is Brain Test: IQ Challenge free to play?

Yes. It runs in your browser on wtfgames.io with no download, install or sign-up, and it works on school Chromebooks.

What do you do when a Brain Test level is impossible?

Click every element on screen, including the question text and the background, and re-read the prompt for a word that can be taken literally. That solves most stuck levels.

Why does Brain Test take a moment to load?

It is a Unity build, so the first load pulls a larger file than a plain HTML5 game. Give it a few seconds on a school Chromebook and it runs fine after that.
