Drift Donut

Drift Donut is a drift racing game where every track is a closed loop, so you are never driving in a straight line for long. The whole game is about holding a slide through a curve without losing the car to a wall, lap after lap on the same short circuit.

How to play: use the arrow keys or WASD to steer and accelerate, with up holding the throttle and left and right leaning the car into a drift. Space works as a handbrake for the tightest hairpins. Coins scattered along the ideal line reward a clean drift line more than a cautious one, and collecting enough unlocks new cars with different handling.

Two habits help. Start your steering input slightly before the corner rather than at the apex, since the car needs a beat to settle into the slide, and easing off the throttle mid-drift usually loses more time than it saves. Chase the coin line instead of the shortest line, because on a donut track the coins are placed exactly where a good drift naturally carries you. Unlocking a new car is also worth doing early, since different handling models make some circuits noticeably easier to hold a long slide on.
