DigDig.io drops you underground with a drill and one goal: dig deeper and grab more resources than everyone else sharing the map.

You move and dig with the mouse, and every tunnel you carve does double duty: it opens a path toward better ore, and it opens a path for another player to follow you in. Deeper layers hold more valuable resources, but they also come with tougher hazards and more competition, since everyone on the server is chasing the same reward the further down they go.

Cashing in resources at the surface is what actually climbs you up the leaderboard, so hoarding too much loot underground is riskier than it looks. A digger who gets caught with a full inventory loses everything they were carrying, while someone who cashes in smaller amounts more often keeps most of their progress safe.

Digging a short escape tunnel back toward the surface before pushing deep into a rich vein is worth the extra time, since it gives you a fast way out if another digger shows up. Watching the edges of your tunnel for fresh cuts is also useful, since a break in the wall usually means someone else has already found their way in.

DigDig.io is unblocked and works fine on a school Chromebook, so it is an easy multiplayer pick for a quick dig-and-survive session between classes. Sessions scale to whatever time you have, since you can cash in and log off after a single short dig just as easily as a longer one.
