Evo World io drops you into an arena full of wild animals, and your only job is to survive and evolve into something bigger before anything else does the same to you.

You move with the mouse, and that is the whole control scheme. Eating smaller creatures and scattered resources grows your character toward the next evolution stage, and each new stage changes both your size and what you can safely hunt. The tricky part is that the map does not sort players by size, so a creature far bigger than you can be one screen away at any moment.

Early stages are the most dangerous, since almost everything can end your run before you have grown enough to fight back. Sticking near the edges of the map and grazing on scattered food, instead of chasing other players for an early kill, usually keeps a run alive longer than trying to hunt too soon.

Watching the size of nearby creatures before committing to a chase matters more than chasing the nearest target, since a creature that looks similar in size can still be a stage ahead once it evolves. Staying near patches of scattered food instead of open space also reduces the number of surprise encounters with something bigger passing through.
