Sploop.io mixes building and battle royale into one arena: gather resources, build walls and structures for cover, and fight until you are the last player standing.

Controls are laid out on the main game screen, and most early rounds are spent chopping trees and mining stone before the real fighting starts, since resources are what let you throw up walls fast enough to survive an ambush. Building smart cover matters as much as aim once other players start closing in, and a player caught out in the open rarely lasts long against someone already dug in behind a few quick walls.

The playable area shrinks as the round goes on, which forces fights that both sides might otherwise avoid. Staying near the edge of the safe zone for as long as possible, rather than rushing toward the center early, tends to keep a run alive longer, since the center draws the most traffic and the most fights.

Building a small enclosed shelter as soon as you have enough wood is usually worth more than gathering a large surplus of resources first, since an early shelter protects the stockpile you already have. Leaving one open side facing away from open ground also gives you a safe angle to fight back from if someone finds your base.
